Position Summary:

The Planner role includes transactions specific for production planning within the plant; including creating and scheduling productions orders, running MRP, displaying inventory and other reporting tools within SAP.  The planner representative will provide information to production personnel in response to inquiries about transactions, demand and processes, in addition to providing a highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to the FXI values and metric requirements.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Become an integral part of the FXI team to perpetuate our reputation as the industry’s highest-service provider
  • Handle incoming production demand requests and appropriately communicate to production personnel for scheduling
  • Monitor inventory control and safety stock
  • Receives, processes and verifies accuracy of production order creation, material issuance and TECO process
  • BOM’s/Routings
  • Monitor production daily using ZOPERATION functions, KPI requirements and MUV
  • Monitor critical warehouse processes
  • Actively involved in continuous process improvement within and between departments
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experience

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point and Access
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred 
  • Computer proficiency
  • Self-directed, well-organized and self-motivated 
  • Time Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to positively interact with all levels of the organization in a team environment 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
  • Pass background screen and post offer drug screen
